Welcome!

I would like to welcome every visitor to this new, moderate political blog starting this May, 2008. In a world torn apart by partisan politics, extreme views and a lack of consensus on what America, and the world really needs, I offer a chance to read and respond to a moderate stance, one that draws from both of our two great political parties and everyone in between.
My greatest teacher of all time, a high school AP Government and Politics instructor, once told me that he was an independent because both parties couldn't offer him the middle of the road options he so desperately needed to hear. If you are like him and need to hear some sense in this often extreme world, then you've come to the right place.
This blog will discuss not only general political views, but also specifics, ranging from Global Warming, the economy, and health care as well as general science. As a pre-med student, I hope to find a middle road to the often daunting task of reforming our out-dated and under funded medical system. As a history student with a focus on European affairs, I have learned how our European counterparts can help show us the way to fix some of our more decisive problems.
I hope you all enjoy this new experiment at moderate political thought and find it to be a refreshing break from the Rush Limbaughs and liberal political thinkers that dominate our airwaves and political agendas. Thank you and enjoy.

Sincerely,

Joshua Adams
